Questions:
What are the procedures of abortion for the international students is it legal? What are the process for it
Answer:
All pregnant women who are over 18 years of age and who have not passed the 12th week have the right to an abortion in Denmark.
If you are a foreigner – without a Danish health insurance card – you have to pay yourself. This is typically done via a private gynecologist or private hospital, but you can in principle go through a general practitioner as well.
Most students have health insurance that instructs how to contact the Danish health service in the event of illness.
